The worst day of my life was on April 16th, when the Israeli occupation stormed the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza. We were forced to flee on foot for more than 14 kilometers without looking back. It was a terrifying day, although I’m usually not very afraid, but I saw death pass by me thousands of times. It was a harsh night; helicopters and planes were flying over the hospital, and I, along with three of my friends, were the last surgeons in the hospital. The operating rooms were full, and we had to leave the patients there suffering. Such heart-wrenching memories. Thank God we endured and suffered a lot in Gaza’s hospitals. I hope this massacre ends soon and that peace and security prevail in our land
